Moscow photographic institution of the second half of the 19th century of famous photographer and artist Mikhail Mikhailovich Panov (1836–1894). Throughout its existence, since 1864 til the death of its owner, the shop was located at different addresses - on Petrovka, on the Kuznetsk bridge, on Nikolskaya street, etc. In September 1887, a fire broke out in Panov’s photograph, which destroyed everything inside, including photographer's negatives. Panov was named as "the photographer of his Imperial Highness Prince Konstantin Nikolayevich and Their Majesties the Kings of Sweden and Italy."
