Moscow jewelry firm of I.P. Khlebnikov. The firm was founded in 1870 in Moscow by Ivan Petrovich Khlebnikov (1819–1881), the merchant of the first guild. 100 workers worked at the newly opened factory in 1871. The company’s stores were located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Nizhny Novgorod. Since 1872, Khlebnikov received permission to be called the “Supplier of the Court of the Sovereign Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolaevich”. After the death of I.P. Khlebnikov, his sons formed in 1888 a joint-stock company called "Partnership for the Production of Silver, Gold and Jewelry I.P. Khlebnikov’s sons and Co.”. The company I.P. Khlebnikova ceased to exist on June 24th, 1917. Since 1918, the main enterprise was transformed into the Moscow Platinum Factory.
