Russian architect and restorer, Actual State Councillor, chairman of the Moscow Architectural Society in 1872-1875. Born in 1819. Brother of architects D.A. Shokhin and F.A. Shokhin. He graduated from the Moscow Palace Architectural School. Since 1846 he worked in the Moscow Palace Office. In the 1860-1870 years — the architect of the Moscow Palace Office, since 1871 - the head of the drawing office. He was engaged in the reconstruction of the Small Nikolaevsky Palace in the Kremlin in 1872 . He took part in the restoration of the Amusement Palace, the Faceted Chamber, the Trinity Tower in the Kremlin, the Ascension Church in Kolomenskoye. In the 1870s took part in the construction of the Officers and Grenadier corps. Since 1864 he is an honorary member of the Academy of Arts. He was one of the founders of the Moscow Architectural Society in 1867, and became the Chairman of the Society in 1872–1875. Died in 1895.
